Simple Modern Celebrates Manufacturing 50 Millionth Cup;
Gives Away Tumbler and $5,000 in Surprise Order
Simple Modern recently manufactured its 50 millionth cup, and, as a part of existing to give generously, the company included the milestone cup and a certificate for $5,000 in an unsuspecting customer’s existing order.

Simple Modern, a leading producer of premium drinkware and consumer products, recently manufactured its 50 millionth cup, a major manufacturing milestone highlighting the continued rapid growth of the retail and e-commerce company.

The manufacturing landmark comes shortly after the company’s ninth anniversary, Sept. 23.

“We are so proud to have grown both significantly and strategically in the last nine years,” said Mike Beckham, Simple Modern founder and CEO. “Manufacturing 50 million drinkware options for our customers is a testament to not only our incredible team of employees but also our customers who love our products. A surprise in a random order: Celebrating with those who love Simple Modern
Simple Modern decided to mark this milestone by giving away both the 50 millionth cup and $5,000 to a randomly selected customer. Simple Modern added these gifts to an existing order that is currently being sent to one of its customers. The shipment contains both the customer’s original order, the milestone cup and a voucher explaining the recipient has also won $5,000. Simple Modern did not make any prior public announcements that it planned to do this. Rather, it decided to randomly surprise one unsuspecting customer with generosity.

“We wanted to include our customers in this exciting moment,” Beckham said. “We exist to give generously, so it just makes sense that’d we’d give away our 50 millionth cup as well. We are so thankful to our customers, and we thought this would be a fun way to surprise one customer, chosen randomly, as an example of our gratitude to the whole. We are so proud of the past nine years, but that pales in comparison to the excitement we have for what the next nine years will bring.”
