Want to take the best care possible of your Simple Modern products? Here are a few ways to help keep your products in good shape, clean and ready to use:

How to care for your Simple Modern drinkware:
  • After purchasing, remove and read all inserts from your product before use.
  • Wash the bottle or tumbler and the lid and straw prior to the first use.
  • Do not place Simple Modern products in the microwave or freezer. This could damage both the appliance and the product.
  • Check to make sure lids are properly screwed on or pressed down before drinking.
  • Use caution when drinking hot beverages, and do not overfill. Hot beverages can cause injury if spilled.
  • Use caution when opening hot beverages or carbonated beverages. Pressure can build without room to escape.
How to clean your Simple Modern drinkware:
  • Wash before using for the first time.
  • Read care instructions for your drinkware vessel and instructions inserted into the bottle at time of purchase.
  • Wash after every use, using the dishwasher if the cup is dishwasher safe.  Check the bottom of your vessel to be sure whether your tumbler is safe to put in the dishwasher.
  • We recommend only using the top rack, away from your appliance's heating element.
  • If not dishwasher safe, soak bottles or tumblers in warm, soapy water for 10 minutes. Then, scrub the bottle with a Simple Modern Bottle Brush and rinse thoroughly. Set aside and allow to dry thoroughly.
  • Store lids separately from bottles or tumblers to allow air to circulate while storing.
  • For tougher stains, like from coffee or tea, try our Simple Modern Cleaning Tablets. Fill your vessel with water, drop in a tablet, let soak for 15 minutes, and rinse thoroughly.
For a deeper clean:
Here’s a simple cleaning solution you can make with household ingredients to deep clean your bottle or tumbler or tackle any hard-to-handle stains.

What you need:
Vinegar
Baking soda
Water

Here’s what to do:
Mix 1-part cleaning vinegar, 1-part water and 1 tablespoon baking soda inside your bottle or tumbler. Let sit overnight. The next day, pour out ¾ of the mixture and add another 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Scrub thoroughly with the Simple Modern brush, rinse, then set aside to air dry.

To care for your Simple Modern bags and backpacks, please wipe clean with water and air dry. Do not machine wash.
