Simple Modern Provides 15,000 water bottles to Tulsa Public Schools’ Ready. Set. Summer! Program Simple Modern is proud to announce its partnership with Tulsa Public Schools and the Foundation for Tulsa Schools to donate 15,000 water bottles for the public school district’s summer initiative, Ready. Set. Summer!, held June 20-July 19.This is the second year Simple Modern and TPS have partnered together to deliver water bottles to students in need. This year, the water bottles will be given to each Ready. Set. Summer! student as they participate in the public school district’s summer learning activities. In 2023, Ready. Set. Summer! served almost 6,000 students, with 55% of those students coming from magnet schools in the district. “We are so pleased to be a part of the Ready. Set. Summer! program, helping kids stay hydrated while they have fun and keep learning this summer,” said Chris Hoyle, Simple Modern Chief Marketing Officer. “Simple Modern exists to give generously, and we love supporting organizations like Tulsa Public Schools that are directly impacting the lives of children every single day.”The Ready. Set. Summer! Program provides 150 minutes of academic instruction per day, which totals to 40 hours across the 18-day program. This helps curb the learning loss students may experience during summer months without programs to reinforce what they learned during the school year. In addition, the program provides free summer meals, fun enrichment activities, and opportunities to deepen connections with friends and caring adults. Additionally, since FTS is a separate 501(c)3, can we call out the Foundation for Tulsa Schools by name in either of the first two paragraphs where the partnership is introduced? “We are so proud to see the growth and success for students enrolled in the Ready. Set. Summer! program,” said Annabelle Elliott, Foundation for Tulsa Schools Manager of Development & Community Partnerships. “And, through partnerships like the one with Simple Modern, we’re able to provide a high-quality experience that makes the kids feel valued, included and loved.”For more information about Tulsa Public School’s Ready.
